The future of the web will be HTML5 and CSS3 according to what Google developers say in this conference. Talking about the future is always risky: in the sci-fi movies of the '60s and '70s the XXI century was depicted with flying cars and robots. So we have to be realist: use these standards now but without a sense of prediction and use them as they come in browsers. Otherwise, you might end up by realizing that flying cars have not been invented yet. wink
