I've just finished to create a really basic site template using jQuery and CSS. There might be some browser discrepancies in the final rendering of this layout, but they are something that we can handle with a minimum effort. This template will show you how to create a semantic web site template, formatting it with CSS and add some effects with jQuery. The images used for the slider are taken from Wikimedia, so you don't have to reference them from my web site. Feel free to use this simple template as a base for more advanced and interesting projects.
