CSS gradients with Photoshop

The current support to CSS3 gradients is still missing in some browsers, so if we want to achieve this effect we still have to use an image editor like Photoshop. The following video tutorial shows you how to accomplish this task very easily. A word of caution: the image used in this tutorial is in the JPEG format, so choosing the matching color for the page is relatively simple. On the contrary, if you use the PNG format, results may differ in some browsers, especially in Internet Explorer, where you may notice a slight difference between the end color of the gradient and the background color of the page. Just to be on the safe side, always use GIF or JPEG images for such tasks.
