jQuery books are a vast collection of publications. In this post I'm going to try to give you a simple overview of the most significant ones by also providing a brief description of them.
This book, published by O'Reilly, is by far the most useful book on jQuery. Written by the jQuery developer community, it provides a complete reference to the most common (but also advanced) topics related to jQuery. Its level ranges from beginner to advanced and its recipes actually cover every single aspect and detail behind the jQuery development. I recommend this book to every developer who wants to start using jQuery effectively.
This book, published by PacktPub, shows an incredible variety of advanced solutions for common jQuery problems, including pagination, table sorting, slideshows and much more. Further, all the theory behind jQuery is covered with great details, also including the plugin development techniques.
This book is much similar to the previous one, except for the fact that it actually features a larger number of solutions and tips. Published by SitePoint, it covers all the aspects of jQuery, starting with beginner concepts and then moving towards more and more advanced topics. Absolutely recommended.
